David Meek

Chief Executive Officer. David Meek has been involved in higher education for over 35 years as CEO of several technology companies including Campus Management Corp (Founder/CEO), Education Technology Associates (Founder/CEO) and currently Student First (Founder/CEO).

Viki Hucke-McCright

Chief Product and Strategy Officer. Viki Hucke-McCright has joined Student First after decades of experience in higher education technology and leadership. Prior to joining, Viki held multiple senior roles at Campus Management and most recently Anthology, where she led strategic initiatives, customer engagement, and career education. She brings deep expertise in product strategy, R&D, and building strong client relationships, which will allow her to immediately strengthen execution. Viki will also be instrumental in guiding Student First's efforts to drive high-value and innovative solutions to our customers.

Garland Hall

Chief Operating Officer. Garland Hall brings more than 25 years of global leadership experience in the information technology industry, with deep expertise across higher education and K–12. Prior to joining Student First, Garland served on the executive teams at Ellucian and Frontline Education, where he led organizations through complex transformation initiatives including mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, modernization, and digital and cloud transformation. Garland is known for his strong financial acumen, customer-first approach, and ability to build and develop high-performing teams. He is a proven mentor and talent developer who helps organizations operate more efficiently by aligning people, strategy, and customer-first outcomes.

Joe Fisher

Chief of Staff & Senior Vice President. Joe Fisher joined Student First with more than 25 years of experience in higher education—over 20 of which have been focused exclusively on student information systems. As an implementation consultant, project manager, and sales executive, Joe has helped clients find solutions to the complex business challenges facing higher education. At Student First, Joe brings his collaborative approach and problem-solving skills to help institutions of all sizes fulfill their mission through modern technology.

Mike Cleary

Senior Vice President, Customer Success. Mike Cleary joins Student First to lead the company's customer success operations and strategy. He brings over 25 years of experience building and leading global support and success organizations, which will be key to advancing our mission of delivering exceptional customer experiences. Prior to Student First, Mike led Customer Success teams at Flexera, CloudCheckr, and Ellucian. During his 20 years at Ellucian, he was responsible for leading more than 200 professionals across Product Support, Customer Success Enablement, and managing over $450 million in annual Maintenance Revenue Renewals.

Scott Arnett

Senior Vice President of Sales. Scott Arnett is the SVP of Sales at Student First driving go‑to‑market efforts grounded in partnership, trust, and a deep understanding of institutional needs. With nearly three decades in education technology—including most recently leading the enterprise sales motion for North America at Anthology—he has a track record of unifying teams around clear priorities and a shared commitment to integrity. Scott brings a collaborative, student‑centered approach that reflects the core values of Student First.

Bryan Carmichael

Vice President of Sales. Bryan Carmichael joined Student First with more than 20 years of experience in selling solutions for higher education. He brings extensive expertise in providing prospective clients with trusted advice and guidance to help them make strategic decisions for their institutions. Throughout his career, he has worked across many aspects of technology sales in higher education, delivering solutions that help colleges and universities adapt to an ever-changing market.
